Software Engineer

Overview

You will join the CDAITO Area, in a team that manages transformative projects for Finance Capital Markets applications. If you are a recent graduate in Computer Science, Mathematics, Management Engineering, or IT, with an interest in Finance and Capital Markets, you will be able to put your problem-solving, team spirit, and analytical skills to the test. Under the guidance of senior colleagues, you will contribute to the evolution of a custom framework serving the Trading Desk and Risk Management.

What your activities will be

  • Implement Web-oriented software applications, in Java or generally with object-oriented programming languages, contributing to the construction of architectural solutions, including with a DevOps approach, for Enterprise contexts
  • Analyze, with the support of the team, the processes and data of the information system
  • Support the evaluation of the feasibility of IT solutions from a technological and economic point of view
  • Contribute to the design of functions and specifications of software and IT applications in the Finance sector
  • Participate in the development of proposals for improving corporate software architecture

Who we are looking for

If you have the following characteristics, we are waiting for you:

  • 1-3 years of experience in software development
  • Degree or specialized diploma in an IT-scientific field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Engineering)
  • Good command of the English language
  • Excellent knowledge of the Office 365 suite tools
  • Basic knowledge of Java (Spring framework) and Python
  • Knowledge of the Git versioning system
  • Basic knowledge of event-driven systems (Apache Kafka, Nifi, Flink)
  • Basic knowledge of the main SQL and NOSQL DBs and GCP infrastructure
  • Basic knowledge of data transformation (ETL) and data communication technologies
  • Knowledge of the main operating systems
  • Basic knowledge of the main Agile project management tools (JIRA)
