Project
Further development of existing market risk applications in the banking environment and implementation of future development initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements from Risk Management (Market & Credit Risk) and Trading, and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design, develop, and enhance applications using Java and Kotlin.
- Develop and maintain interfaces with trading, market data, reference data, and reporting systems.
- Ensure application performance, stability, and maintainability, including intraday and end-of-day processing.
- Perform unit, integration, and regression testing.
- Conduct troubleshooting and provide 3rd-level application support.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture, design, and implementation documentation.
Requirements
- Several years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer or Application Developer in the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong expertise in:
- Java
- Kotlin
- Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL)
- PL/SQL
- Experience working with complex application landscapes and system integrations.
- Knowledge of Risk Management, Trading, or financial applications is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and a structured, methodical approach to work.
