The candidate will work within a cross-functional Agile Scrum Team primarily focusing on building and maintaining systems running in a containerized environment. This position is 100% on-site.

What will you do?


Required Qualifications



  • 2+ years of experience leading a team of 3-5 engineers developing an application that runs in a containerized environment, ideally Kubernetes/OpenShift based.

  • 2+ years of experience with software architecture/design

  • 2+ years of experience with Java

  • 2+ years of experience with Python

  • 2+ years of experience with SQL

  • 2+ years of experience with Shell Script

  • 4+ years of experience with Unix/Linux


Preferred Qualifications



  • 2 years of experience with JavaScript

  • Security+ or equivalent certification and willingness to serve as a privileged user supporting deployed systems testing

  • Familiarity with NiFi

  • Experience with cross-domain systems


Do you have what it takes?



  • A Bachelor’s degree with 9 years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree with 7 years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience maybe considered in lieu of a degree requirement

  • TS/SCI with current CI poly to start


Pay Range:


VTG’s estimated starting pay range is $180,000-$230,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
