About the postion

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with a strong backend orientation to join the IVIX R&D team.

You will build and maintain data-intensive web applications across a polyglot monorepo, working with a React/TypeScript frontend, Python/FastAPI and NestJS backends, and a MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Neo4j data layer.

Our systems are deployed both on-premises and as a SaaS offering on Kubernetes.

What You'll Do

• Develop end-to-end features and systems used daily by key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
• Evolve our engineering and architecture to support the growing scale of users, features, and data.
• Work closely with Product and Design while taking full ownership of features- from planning and technical design through development and post-deployment.
• Design and implement solutions to complex problems involving large-scale data.
• Write and maintain tests across the stack.
• Contribute to shared libraries, infrastructure, and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on backend development.
• Strong experience with React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• 3+ years of experience with Python backend development, preferably using FastAPI or similar asynchronous frameworks.
• Solid understanding of SQL, MongoDB, and data modeling.
• Experience designing and building REST APIs.
• Experience developing and maintaining high-scale systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-driven, proactive, and collaborative, with excellent interpersonal skills.
• BSc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - an advantage.
