Role Overview
We are looking for a Software Engineer with experience in Java development and exposure to Angular to design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to deliver high-quality software solutions while adhering to development standards, security guidelines, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business and functional requirements in collaboration with Business Analysts and technical teams.
- Design, develop, and enhance enterprise applications using Java and Angular.
- Translate functional specifications into efficient, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions.
- Develop clean, secure, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.
- Perform unit testing and support integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve application issues, defects, and production incidents.
- Implement software enhancements, bug fixes, and configuration changes.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and compliance with security standards.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
- Experience with Angular is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and software development best practices.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and web application development.
- Familiarity with SQL databases and database design concepts.
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Spring Boot or other Java frameworks.
- Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and enterprise application development.
