Summary
Builds and maintains benchmark-calculation and pricing/data services for Kraken's crypto exchange, developing backend features in Java and supporting a 24/7 high-throughput real-time distributed system. Remote role open to candidates across Latin America.
You will build benchmark-calculation systems and develop features with the product team. You will contribute to data analysis, infrastructure, backend systems, and business logic; support a 24/7 distributed system; and help maintain tests, metrics, and alarms for pricing and data services.
Responsibilities
- Build benchmark calculation systems based on new methodologies
- Develop end-to-end product features with the product team
- Contribute to data analysis, infrastructure, backend systems, and business logic
- Support a 24/7 real-time distributed system
- Maintain suitable test, metric, and alarm coverage
- Provide pricing and data services
Requirements
- Software development experience focused on backend development
- Java application development skills
- Ability to develop iteratively for high-throughput real-time systems
- Ability to write maintainable, efficient, and dependable code
- Knowledge of CI/CD and Git
- Mathematical and reasoning skills
- Written and verbal English communication skills
- Problem-solving and attention to detail
