About the Role

Impronics Technologies is looking for an experienced Software Engineer specialising in Java and Spring Boot to join our technology team.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building high-performance, scalable and reliable software solutions, with a solid understanding of modern software engineering practices and enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate and maintain Java-based applications.
• Develop applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build scalable and latency-sensitive software solutions.
• Work closely with business, technology and other stakeholders.
• Analyse and resolve complex development and production issues.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and architectural decisions.
• Produce clear technical and design documentation.
• Contribute to Agile development and continuous improvement.
• Mentor team members and share technical knowledge.
• Take ownership of tasks and deliver solutions with minimal supervision.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Informatics or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Strong experience in Java SE and Spring Boot.
• Experience in enterprise application development and high-performance systems.
• Experience with real-time systems is advantageous.
• Experience in banking, financial services, capital markets, Forex or fintech is advantageous.
