What you will be doing:
- Contribute to the development of the Kotlin Android application.
- Design, develop, and test code written in Kotlin and Java.
- Draft technical specifications and briefs, and perform code reviews.
- Monitor and profile application performance.
- Monitor services and systems within the infrastructure.
- Collaborate with creative, content, and engineering teams to design and develop the app, and publish it to the Play Store.
What our client is looking for:
- 5+ years in software development, including 4+ years of Kotlin experience.
- Experience in architecting, developing, testing, and maintaining Android mobile applications.
- Practical experience with dependency management, RESTful APIs, and web services.
- Proficiency with Git revision control and issue tracking or management systems.
- Advanced understanding of programming fundamentals such as algorithms, data structures, OOP, and design patterns (e.g., MVC/MVVM).
- Beneficial experience with e-commerce applications, Firebase, Go, Google Cloud Platform, and AI / MCP.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and a strong drive for results.
