Sales and Operations Engineering is part of IS&T and drives the technology behind Apple's global operations, sales, and supply chain. The team connects the systems that move products from factory to customer — bridging sales platforms with the operational infrastructure that keeps Apple running at scale and ensuring Apple's technology and business priorities move in lockstep.

Apple E-Business Services team is seeking an outstanding hands on Integration Software Engineer with passion for developing highly scalable integration platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for a self motivated, enthusiastic, result oriented person to design and build Java based B2B ‘infrastructure as code’ components using technologies like object storage and no sql databases. Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field
• More than 2+ years experience in building frameworks using middleware like Apache Camel.
• Strong programming experience (more than 3+ years) in Java or Python for building middleware or backend applications.
• More than 2+ years experience in working with Oracle or similar relational databases and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Strong understanding of HTTP/S, TCP, DNS, load balancing, JVM, OS, networking, and security protocols including TLS/SSL, SSH/SFTP, PKI, X.509, or PGP.
• Firsthand experience in performance tuning of applications and databases.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with AI/ML fundamentals is a plus
• Results oriented and demonstrates high degree of ownership and accountability.
• Communicate quickly and effectively; vertically and horizontally through the organization.
• Working experience in Agile development methodology. Knowledge of integrations with cloud based solutions is a plus
• Handle ambiguity and solve problems despite uncertainties.
• Ability to lead large projects focussing on innovation, team work and results. Demonstrated track record of achieving outstanding results in professional career.
