Software Engineer on Infor's Warehouse Management System team, translating business requirements into configured solutions, designs, and documentation. Day-to-day is Java-based development (3+ years) with Spring Boot, RESTful web services, Hibernate, AWS, RDBMS work, and integration testing via tools like Postman.
The Software Engineer will work as a member of Infor’s Warehouse Management System team and will be responsible for understanding the business requirements of the Software Engineer and subsequently be able to configure and provide solutions that meet the functional requirements. Should be able to create solution designs, documentation and presentations. This position involves interaction with various business units, quality assurance and production support. It is expected to possess 3+ years of java development experience.
- Should have 3+ years of java development experience.
- Comfortable with SQL and Database technologies.
- Display a high level of critical thinking in cross-functional process analysis and problem resolution
- To meet/exceed and maintain service levels as assigned by management.
- To meet/exceed expected reliability standards
- Should be able to efficiently understand the business requirements of the BAs and subsequently be able to configure and provide solutions that meet design needs.
- Should be able to create solution designs, documentation, and presentations and also have experience in training the key users in the application.
- Should have 3+ yrs of java development experience.
- Development skills –Java, J2EE, Javascript , Restful Web services, Spring boot , hibernate , AWS.
- Hands-on experience of using Integration tools like POSTMAN , Infor OS etc.
- Experience in RDBMS like oracle , SQL server, PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Management or Warehouse Management is an advantage
- Knowledge of AI development tools like Claude, Amazon Kiro etc.
- Strong problem-solving and analytic skills
- High interested in continuously learning new technical solutions and very Analytical in thinking.
