Software Engineer - Jr Mainframe Developer

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software development principles and experience working with mainframe systems.

Roles and Responsibility

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications on mainframe systems.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.


• Develop and maintain high-quality code that meets industry standards and best practices.


• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to mainframe systems.


• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall codebase.


• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in mainframe development.

Job Requirements

• Strong understanding of software development life cycles and methodologies.


• Experience with mainframe operating systems and programming languages such as COBOL, JCL, and RPGLE.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex ideas clearly.


• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.


• Familiarity with CGI Information Systems and Management Consultants is an added advantage.
