The Mission
At Kryptauri, we build software where failure is not an option. As a Software Engineer I, you’ll join a fast?moving team delivering mission?critical capabilities across a distributed microservice ecosystem with multiple operator?facing UIs. You’ll work shoulder?to?shoulder with mission partners, shaping systems that matter—daily.
This is a builder role. You won’t just implement tickets—you’ll help design systems, solve hard engineering problems, and directly influence how capabilities evolve in production.
What You’ll Do
- Build, extend, and maintain Java?based microservices powering operational mission workflows
- Partner closely with the Tech Lead to influence technical direction and feature prioritization
- Tackle complex design and debugging challenges in a production environment
- Engage directly with customers to resolve issues, gather feedback, and propose new capabilities
- Support testing, deployment, and sustainment of live systems
- Contribute within a feature?driven development model on a highly collaborative team
What You Bring
Required
- Hands?on experience designing, debugging, and problem?solving in Java
- Experience building RESTful web services
- Working knowledge of Spring Boot
- Experience with MongoDB or comparable data stores
- Familiarity with automated testing practices
- Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
Nice to Have
- Full?stack experience, including UI development (JavaScript, Vue.js)
- Experience with Kafka or event?driven architectures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Linux administration experience
- Exposure to automated build tools, CI/CD, and deployment pipelines
Experience & Education
- 3+ years of software engineering experience
- B.S. in a technical discipline, or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
