Software Engineer - Linux Kernel
- Crafting and analysing innovative scheduling features
- Performance and power measurement on real hardware platforms
- Development and testing on platforms from software models through FPGA systems to development boards and shipping products
- Upstreaming and maintenance of existing features
- Influencing and building consensus among the upstream community to ensure that Linux Scheduler and Power Management are excellent on Arm platforms
- Established experience or a Bachelor’s (or above) degree in a STEM subject
- Passion about Open Source Software development and visible contribution to the Linux Kernel
- Commanding knowledge of developing and debugging operating systems
- Understanding of low level details of computer systems and hardware
- Excellent C skills
- Some assembly skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Capability of writing documentation and mentoring junior engineers
- Professional, enthusiastic and flexible approach to work

- Experience of power management tradeoffs and techniques

- Strong familiarity with testing methodology and automated testing systems
- Hands-on experience in developing with embedded platforms and/or real-time operating systems
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Perl

- Competitive salary range from HUF 13,014,000 to HUF 17,607,000 per year
