Software Engineer Linux Kernel C++ C

You will build and maintain a Linux-based operating system for a supercomputer network fabric. You will develop high-performance device drivers, deploy and debug the production platform, resolve anomalies, improve observability and configuration management, and bring up operating-system software on new hardware.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a high-reliability Linux-based operating system
• Write or rewrite high-performance device drivers
• Manage deployment, operation, and debugging of the production platform
• Resolve and root-cause anomalies to improve reliability
• Improve observability and configuration-management tools
• Collaborate on next-generation hardware design and bring up the operating system and software stack

Requirements

• Systems programming experience in C or C++
• Operating systems knowledge including scheduling, memory management, and I/O
• Understanding of host networking, switches, and routers
• Written and verbal communication skills
