We're looking for a Software Engineer who loves solving complex problems, building modern software, and collaborating with teammates to deliver products that make a real business impact. Every line of code you write helps power experiences used by customers, dealerships, and internal teams across one of the largest automotive retailers in North America.
You'll work alongside product managers, designers, engineers, and business leaders to build scalable solutions that drive innovation and improve how millions of customers interact with our business.
Location: Remote - PST work hours
Compensation Range: $85,000 – $120,000. Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
What You'll Do
- Build, enhance, and support software solutions that solve real business challenges.
- Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to transform ideas into production-ready applications.
- Design systems that are scalable, secure, reliable, and easy to maintain.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and collaborative problem solving.
- Investigate and resolve production issues while continuously improving application performance and stability.
- Contribute to code reviews, automated testing, and engineering best practices.
- Help advance our development processes, tooling, and automation strategies.
- Learn, innovate, and share knowledge with a team that values growth and continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring
- 2+ years of experience developing and supporting software applications in a professional environment.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language and a strong foundation in software engineering best practices, including source control, testing, debugging, and CI/CD.
- Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud-based applications, APIs, integrations, and modern software architectures.
- Experience supporting production systems and continuously improving software quality and reliability.
- Curiosity to learn new technologies, including AI-assisted development tools, and adapt to evolving business needs.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Our engineering teams build and support cloud-native applications using technologies such as Azure, .NET/C#, Kotlin, React, Next.js, Angular, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Docker, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development tools.
