Summary
Software Engineer developing and maintaining Electronic Warfare Ground Support Systems for Tornado, A400M and Eurofighter platforms in Manching. Day to day: analyzing stakeholder use cases, designing software architectures, and building web/cloud solutions (Angular, TypeScript, HTML) for mission data preparation and flight evaluation, with testing and agile lifecycle work.
The department develops and maintains Electronic Warfare Ground Support Systems for the Tornado, A400M and Eurofighter platforms at the sites in Manching. The systems enable Electronic Warfare mission data preparation, provides the interfaces to the flying platforms, and support the evaluation of the mission or flight. The jobholder works as a Software Engineer (d/f/m)
- Analysis of the use cases and needs in close cooperation with the various stakeholders of system engineering team
- Definition and realization of software architectures and the ability to evaluate different architectural solutions and choose the best solution
- Understand user workflows
- Define and implement SW solutions using web and cloud technologies to support and enhance different steps throughout the mission data production.
- Preparation and execution of software tests to satisfy the different levels of verification and validation
- Integration of activities in the Software Development Lifecycle
- Develop according to Software Development Plan and accompanied standards
Studium:
- Informatik mind. Master / Diplom-Studiengang oder
- Ingenieurwesen mind. Master / Diplom-Studiengang oder
- equivalent qualification
Berufserfahrung:
- IT / Informationssysteme mind. über 2 Jahre
- Motivation for agile SW development processes and methods
- Englisch mind. verhandlungssicher
- Ideally good knowledge in German
- IT Solid experience with Angular, TypeScript and HTML is necessary
