Software Engineer (Mandarin Speaker)
Summary
In-house software engineer at a medical products manufacturer in Batang, Indonesia, supporting and enhancing manufacturing systems (MES, WMS, ETO sterilization) built on C#/.NET and SQL Server. Requires fluent Mandarin to coordinate with the Chinese technical team, on-site at KITB, Central Java.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Warehouse Management System (WMS), and Ethylene Oxide (ETO) Sterilization System. Develop and enhance system features using C# and .NET based on business and operational needs, perform system maintenance, fix bugs, and optimize application and SQL Server database performance.
Key responsibilities
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Warehouse Management System (WMS), and Ethylene Oxide (ETO) Sterilization System
Develop and enhance system features using C# and .NET based on business and operational needs
Perform system maintenance, fix bugs, and optimize application and SQL Server database performance
Collaborate with users and related departments to ensure smooth system operations and drive continuous improvement
Monitor and support daily system activities to ensure business processes run without interruption
Coordinate with the Chinese technical team on system issues, updates, and new requirements
About you
Bachelor's degree (S1) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Software Engineer/Developer
Proficient in C# and .NET desktop application development (WinForms/WPF)
Strong working knowledge of SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, and troubleshooting)
Familiar with APIs and system integration
Good problem-solving and analytical skills
Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written)
Able to work with Chinese and Indonesian teams
Willing to be based at KITB (Kawasan Industri Terpadu Batang), Central Java
