Software Engineer
Summary
Builds and maintains C#/.NET backend applications, REST APIs, and end-to-end data pipelines (ETL, SQL, Azure cloud) for an industrial/manufacturing automation project, working in an Agile team. Python and data platforms like Databricks or Azure Data Factory, plus AI/LLM exposure, are pluses.
We are looking for a Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in C#/.NET backend development and data engineering to join a project in the industrial and manufacturing automation domain. You will work in an Agile team to build backend applications, develop data processing solutions, and integrate cloud-based services.
ABOUT THE JOB
- Design, develop, and enhance backend applications using C# and .NET / .NET Core, including building new applications from scratch.
- Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs, microservices, and system integrations.
- Build and maintain end-to-end data pipelines, including data extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), and data processing workflows.
- Implement data validation, quality checks, error handling, and recovery mechanisms to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Work with SQL databases, large-scale data processing, and data integration solutions.
- Develop and integrate solutions using Python and/or Microsoft Azure Cloud services.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, and cross-functional teams.
- Troubleshoot application and data-related issues and improve system performance.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and technical discussions.
ABOUT YOU
- Around 4+ years of software development experience.
- Strong experience with C# and .NET / .NET Core, including developing new backend applications from scratch.
- Good knowledge of REST APIs, backend architecture, and system integrations.
- Hands-on experience developing end-to-end data pipelines, including ETL, data transformation, data quality checks, and large-volume data processing.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Practical experience with Python development or Microsoft Azure Cloud development.
- Experience with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Spark/PySpark, or similar data processing platforms is an advantage.
- Exposure to AI/LLM applications or AI Agents, such as OpenAI API, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or RAG, is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
- Good understanding of software engineering best practices, testing, and source control.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
