Software Engineer

Position Description

The Software Engineer shall be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining tools and services in support of CLEVERCHEMIST’s suite of products such as GitLab, Artifactory, MinIO, GitLab Runner, Jupyter and SPARTANDESK (Linux virtual desktop). The Software Engineer shall work closely with cross-functional teams including software developers, system administrators, project managers, and mission customers to deliver seamless integrations that enhance productivity and streamline workflows.

Position Required Skills

§ Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux Tools

§ Experience writing Bash/Python/PHP scripts to automate administrative tasks and workflows

§ Recent software development experience using Java

§ Experience using an integrated development environment such as the Atlassian plugin software developer kit (SDK)

§ Experience with IaC principles and automation tools such as Ansible

§ Experience creating documentation of configurations, procedures, and system changes

§ Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI

§ Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker

§ Experience with Git for source code management, branching strategies, and team collaboration

Position Desired Skills

§ Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)

§ Experience with sustaining mission applications deployed in a Linux environment

§ Experience with interacting/training external customers
