Software Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java 8, J2EE, Spring Boot, Angular, and Agentic AI technologies.
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performance full-stack applications deployed on AWS Cloud.
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices following industry best practices.
• Develop event-driven integrations using Apache Camel, AWS SQS, and AWS SNS.
• Integrate enterprise applications with third-party SaaS platforms and external systems.
• Develop and maintain microservices-based architectures supporting high-volume business applications.
• Design scalable banking and financial platform solutions with a strong focus on reliability, security, and performance.
• Work with Oracle Database for data modeling, query optimization, stored procedures, and application integration.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Type Script.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth2, JWT, and Spring Security.
• Optimize application performance through profiling, caching strategies, and database tuning.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications in AWS environments using cloud-native services.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and production issue resolution.
• Ensure software solutions comply with enterprise security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical design discussions and architectural decisions.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and cloud services to improve system performance and business value.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in software development.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud-native applications.
• Experience working in multinational or enterprise environments is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced Agile environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 8, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
• Experience in Angular, Type Script, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong knowledge of Microservices Architecture and REST API development.
• Experience with AWS Cloud services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, IAM, Cloud Watch, SNS, and SQS.
• Experience in event-driven architecture using Apache Camel, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS messaging services.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Git, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Agentic AI, AI-assisted software development, or AI-enabled enterprise applications.
• Understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented programming, and secure coding practices.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or enterprise application development is an advantage.
