  • Proven experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux/UNIX and/or hybrid IT systems.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewall rules, VPNs) and security best practices.
  • Ability to multi-task and change direction as needed to meet customer needs.
  • Ability to innovate and propose alternative solutions to resolve issues.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset, proactive communication, and an eagerness to help technical and non-technical team members solve complex problems.
  • Possess strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Hands-on experience with collaboration and tracking tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows server environments, cloud instances (AWS/Azure/GCP), and local/hybrid network services.
  • Manage user provisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), SSO, and directory services (Active Directory).
  • Apply OS patches, manage system hardening, conduct regular backups, and respond to security alerts or system vulnerabilities.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 3+ years of software development, system administration, or systems engineering development experience.
