Software Engineer
Summary
Builds and maintains MediCureBridge's medical-tourism search platform: fast, SEO-friendly hospital/doctor listings with search and comparison, reliable booking and consultation-callback flows wired into a CRM, and internal tools for enquiry tracking and medical-document handling. JavaScript/TypeScript work, on-site in Islamabad.
MediCureBridge's platform is a search engine for treatment abroad: listings for hospitals and doctors, filters by country, city, specialty, procedure and disease, side-by-side provider comparison, booking requests and a free consultation callback form. The Software Engineer builds and maintains it.
The work is practical product engineering: making listings fast and searchable, keeping the booking and callback flows reliable, and connecting every request to the CRM so no patient message is lost. You also build small internal tools, such as enquiry tracking, medical-document handling and provider communication, that let the coordination team work without spreadsheets. Because patients upload sensitive documents, privacy and careful handling are part of every feature.
Salary: PKR 90,000 – 120,000 per month. Negotiable according to experience and skills.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and extend hospital, doctor, specialty, country and city listings, search and comparison
- Improve the booking request and consultation callback flows and connect them to the CRM
- Build internal tools for enquiry tracking, document handling and provider communication
- Keep listing pages fast, accessible and easy for search engines to index
- Write short documentation so non-technical colleagues can use what you build
Requirements
- Demonstrable ability in JavaScript or TypeScript through a portfolio, GitHub or live project
- Understanding of HTTP, APIs and relational databases
- Careful approach to handling personal and medical data
- Clear written English for tickets and documentation
- On site in E-11, Islamabad, Pakistan, 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM; working days confirmed at interview
Preferred
- React or Next.js in production
- Experience with search, filtering or comparison interfaces
- Basic technical SEO and performance knowledge
