Mid-level Java engineer on Motorola Solutions' ASTRO team in Kraków, developing the Network Management Provisioning Manager for ASTRO networks in a hybrid Scrum team. Stack: Java 21, Tomcat, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, RHEL and KVM, delivered via CI/CD pipelines to on-premise customers.

umowa o pracę: 12500 – 15000 PLN / mies. brutto
ASTRO Department develops applications to manage the ASTRO networks using Java backend technology and web frontend. The applications are built using CI/CD pipelines and used by Customers on premise.
The candidate will use the following technologies:
Java21 backend, web frontend. Tomcat, Hibernate.
The candidate will be a part of a team of experienced and skilled software engineers developing a Network Management Provisioning Manager application.
Our team uses Java, web frontend, Postgres, RHEL and KVM.
Basic Requirements
We expect to higher a mid-experience engineer, who will be a core part of our team. We expect the person to work mostly unsupervised in a Scrum team (with daily sync and biweekly sprint pace).
The requirements for this position are:
3-5 years of experience in software development using similar technology stack
Knowledge (including detailed technical knowledge) of Java, Tomcat, Hibernate
The candidate is expected to use AI-code generation on a regular basis with human and AI-assisted code review
Knowledge of RHEL a large plus
Knowledge of PostGreSQL a plus
A team player is required, as work is often split into many user-stories with interaction points between one another
The team is working in hybrid mode
