ASTRO Department develops applications to manage the ASTRO networks using Java backend technology and web frontend. The applications are built using CI/CD pipelines and used by Customers on premise.The candidate will use the following technologies:Java21 backend, web frontend. Tomcat, Hibernate.The candidate will be a part of a team of experienced and skilled software engineers developing a Network Management Provisioning Manager application.Our team uses Java, web frontend, Postgres, RHEL and KVM.Basic RequirementsWe expect to higher a mid-experience engineer, who will be a core part of our team. We expect the person to work mostly unsupervised in a Scrum team (with daily sync and biweekly sprint pace).The requirements for this position are:3-5 years of experience in software development using similar technology stackKnowledge (including detailed technical knowledge) of Java, Tomcat, HibernateThe candidate is expected to use AI-code generation on a regular basis with human and AI-assisted code reviewKnowledge of RHEL a large plusKnowledge of PostGreSQL a plusA team player is required, as work is often split into many user-stories with interaction points between one anotherThe team is working in hybrid mode
