Software Engineer – Mobile Applications (React Native)
Your tasks
- Design, develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android
- Collaborate with backend teams to integrate RESTful APIs, microservices and real-time communication services
- Participate in the architecture, implementation and continuous improvement of mobile application features
- Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for mobile application delivery
- Ensure application performance, reliability, scalability and security across multiple devices and operating systems
- Maintain and improve existing mobile applications while contributing to new product development
- Participate actively in code reviews, testing, debugging and bug-fixing activities
- Work closely with Product Owners, UX/UI Designers and other engineering teams in an Agile environment
Your profile
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 4+ years of professional experience with React Native
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and the React Native ecosystem
- Experience with native mobile development concepts on iOS and Android
- Knowledge of native development in Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin or Java
- Solid understanding of mobile application architecture, state management (Redux, Context API or similar) and performance optimization
- Experience integrating REST APIs and authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, SSO)
- Experience with CI/CD tools and automated testing for mobile applications
- Fluent in English, German or French is an asset
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and modern software development practices
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented and proactive team player, comfortable working in a distributed and remote environment
- Willing to attend PI planning sessions at headquarters every two months
