Software Engineer (Mobile)

Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements:

• Commercial experience with Kotlin
• Solid understanding of Android development
• Experience integrating mobile apps with REST APIs and backend services
• Experience working within a product engineering team, not just internal tooling
• Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating cross-functionally
• iOS development experience or willingness to pick it up is desirable
• Experience working in a SaaS or B2B software product company is desirable

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain features within a live Kotlin-based mobile product
• Collaborate with product and engineering on roadmap and technical decisions
• Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code as part of a wider codebase
• Integrate the app with backend services and APIs
• Debug, optimise, and improve performance across releases
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards
• Work with product managers to translate customer needs into features
• Manage app releases and version control as part of a team workflow
• Stay current with mobile development best practice and tooling

Our product is central to the company, and we are growing our team to support ongoing development. This is a genuine product engineering role where you will be a core contributor to the mobile side of the platform, working alongside our wider engineering team to build features used daily by customers across the UK. We offer salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum DOE, genuine product ownership, direct input into the platform roadmap, and the stability of an established, profitable company with national customer reach.
