Software Engineer (Motion Planning) at BairesDev

As a Software Engineer (Motion Planning), you will focus on the algorithms that allow autonomous systems to navigate complex environments safely and efficiently. You will play a key role in crafting the logic that translates perception data into smooth, feasible trajectories while managing real-time performance constraints.

What You'll Do:

- Design and implement state-of-the-art motion planning algorithms to handle complex urban and highway scenarios.
- Optimize trajectory generation for smoothness, safety, and passenger comfort across various autonomous platforms.
- Develop and integrate pathfinding solutions using graph-based and sampling-based planners.
- Collaborate with the control and perception teams to ensure seamless interaction between system modules.
- Enforce strict real-time execution standards to guarantee system responsiveness in dynamic environments.
- Validate planning logic through high-fidelity simulations and data-driven analysis.

What we are looking for:

- 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on robotics or autonomous vehicles.
- Proven expertise in developing motion planning algorithms such as RRT, A*, or lattice planners.
- Advanced proficiency in C++ and trajectory optimization techniques.
- Hands-on experience with real-time constraints and MPC in autonomous systems.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
