What you'll do
- Architect, build, and deploy secure and scalable applications through the entire development lifecycle.
- Partner with designers and product managers to determine system requirements and technical strategy.
- Develop clean, efficient code and maintain high standards through peer code reviews.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical documentation and system diagrams.
- Resolve production issues to maintain high system performance and availability.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies and open-source tools to improve government services.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development.
- Proven track record in website and mobile application development.
- Experience working with Content Management Systems.
- Proficiency in at least two programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, JavaScript, or C#.
- Strong grasp of algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, and software design principles.
- Background in web development using Node.js.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team.
Nice to have
- Experience with Next.js.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows.
- Prior experience working on public sector or government projects.
