What you'll do

  • Architect, build, and deploy secure and scalable applications through the entire development lifecycle.
  • Partner with designers and product managers to determine system requirements and technical strategy.
  • Develop clean, efficient code and maintain high standards through peer code reviews.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical documentation and system diagrams.
  • Resolve production issues to maintain high system performance and availability.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Evaluate and integrate new technologies and open-source tools to improve government services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development.
  • Proven track record in website and mobile application development.
  • Experience working with Content Management Systems.
  • Proficiency in at least two programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, JavaScript, or C#.
  • Strong grasp of algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, and software design principles.
  • Background in web development using Node.js.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Next.js.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows.
  • Prior experience working on public sector or government projects.
