The opportunity

We are looking for a Software Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and delivering high-quality solutions. You'll work with modern development practices, collaborate with passionate stakeholders and play a key role in advancing technology platforms that support globally recognised research outcomes.


What you'll do

  • Develop, maintain and enhance web applications, data pipelines and enterprise services
  • Own systems end-to-end from development through to deployment and support
  • Create automation, infrastructure and operational tooling using Python and Infrastructure as Code
  • Support cloud and on-premises environments to ensure reliability, security and performance
  • Contribute to CI/CD practices, release management and system monitoring

What you'll bring

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience developing front-end applications using React and TypeScript
  • Strong Python development and automation skills
  • Experience working with databases, SQL and data troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or OpenTofu
