About the role:
We are seeking a talented Software Engineer (.Net) to join NCS Philippines in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to develop and maintain robust software solutions using .Net technologies. As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying high-quality applications that support our business objectives and drive innovation across our organisation. This position is integral to our technology team and will have a direct impact on the delivery of our software products and services.
Key responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain software applications using .Net frameworks and related technologies
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to established coding standards and best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, business analysts, and quality assurance specialists, to understand requirements and deliver solutions
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing
Debug and troubleshoot software issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies
Engage in regular communication with stakeholders to provide progress updates and address technical concerns
Maintain and refactor existing codebases to improve performance, maintainability, and scalability
What we're looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Proficiency in .Net framework and C# programming language
Banking background is a PLUS
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
Experience with relational databases and SQL
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
Knowledge of web development technologies and frameworks
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Experience with Agile development methodologies is preferred
Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is a plus
Experience with software testing frameworks and practices is advantageous
