Software Engineer (Node.js / React)

We are looking for a Day 2 Software Engineer to support the operation and maintenance of mission-critical applications in a 24/7 production environment. You will troubleshoot application issues, resolve production incidents, and ensure software reliability, performance, and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Day 2 application support, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution.
• Diagnose and resolve software issues related to code, configuration, integration, and performance.
• Support application deployments, configuration updates, and post-release validation.
• Work closely with development, QA, infrastructure, and support teams to maintain service availability.
• Investigate integration issues across APIs, messaging platforms, and microservices.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge articles.
• Participate in 24/7 standby support, production deployments, and major incident management.

Requirements

• Singapore Citizen (mandatory).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in software development, application support, or production support.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js, React, Kafka, Keycloak, MQTT, Docker, Kubernetes/Podman, MongoDB, and IBM MQ.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with experience supporting enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, software configuration, and performance monitoring.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to participate in 24/7 standby, shift work, and after-hours support when required.
