Software Engineer (Node.js / React)
Summary
Day 2 production support engineer troubleshooting enterprise applications in a 24/7 containerized microservices environment using Node.js, React, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and MongoDB.
We are looking for a Day 2 Software Engineer to support the operations and maintenance of enterprise applications in a 24/7 production environment. You will troubleshoot production issues, support application deployments, and ensure application availability and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Provide Day 2 / production application support, troubleshooting incidents and performing root cause analysis.
Perform end-to-end troubleshooting across applications, infrastructure, databases, and integrations.
Support applications running in containerized microservices environments.
Investigate issues involving APIs, messaging, system integrations, and microservices.
Support deployments, configuration changes, and post-release validation.
Work with development, infrastructure, DevOps, and support teams to resolve production issues.
Provide technical support to customers and stakeholders.
Participate in 24/7 standby support and after-hours production activities.
Requirements
Singapore Citizen (mandatory due to security clearance requirement).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
Min 3-5 years of experience in software engineering, application support, or production support.
Experience supporting production applications and microservices environments needed.
Strong knowledge of Node.js, React, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, MongoDB, and Microservices.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across application, infrastructure, and integration layers.
Good communication and customer-facing skills.
Willingness to participate in 24/7 standby and after-hours support.
