Software Engineer - Orpington
Salary: £43,000 - 83,000 per year
Requirements:- We are looking for Software Engineers/Developers at all experience levels.
- We ideally want experience in simulation.
- We require programming skills in one or more of C#, C++, Java, or Unreal Engine.
- We need strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- We value strong organisational and communication skills.
- We need the ability to work effectively within collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams.
- Desirable experience includes simulation, training systems, gaming, modelling, AI, AI/VR, and/or defence domains.
- We ideally prefer a degree in a numerate subject or equivalent practical experience.
- We design and develop efficient, maintainable, high-quality code.
- We design, implement, and execute automated tests.
- We contribute to agile ceremonies including reviews and retrospectives.
- We collaborate with colleagues to resolve technical issues.
- We support the delivery of robust software solutions to defence and training customers.
- We work within project teams to deliver bespoke software solutions and applications that meet customer needs.
- We operate in a fast-paced environment across a wide variety of projects.
