**About Paddox** Paddox Technologies is an AI company building a digital workforce. We build digital employees: AI workers that onboard, earn credentials, and take a seat on the org chart, working the same surfaces your team already uses. Instead of another tool bolted onto the side of the business, a Paddox digital employee is built into the org. It holds a role, reports up, and logs every action it takes. We deploy across the industries that run the real economy, from hospitality floors to engineering teams to enterprise operations. **The role** Paddox digital employees run on a platform that turns a frontier model into a working hire: identity, memory, tools, and governance. As a Software Engineer on this platform, you will build the systems that let a digital employee onboard, hold a role, act across real software, and stay accountable for everything it does. You will work end to end, from the data model to the surfaces managers use, in a small team with real ownership. **What you'll do** Build and ship full-stack features across the platform: Next.js and TypeScript on the front end, a Node and Postgres backend on Supabase, deployed on Google Cloud (Cloud Run). Develop the agent layer: reasoning, tool use, and routing built on LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI) and modern agent frameworks. Implement memory scoped per role and per client, over Postgres and a vector store, with strict isolation between clients. Connect digital employees to the tools people already use, through APIs and MCP where they exist and browser or virtual-desktop automation where they do not. Build the governance layer: action logs, evaluations against the role, and human approval checkpoints. Integrate communication channels: email, chat, and voice. **What we're looking for** You have shipped production software end to end and can show it (GitHub, live products, or references). Strong across the modern web stack: TypeScript, React and Next.js, Node, and a SQL database. Comfortable with cloud deployment and building against third-party APIs. You pick up new tools fast and own problems until they are solved. Clear communicator who forms opinions and voices them. **Nice to have** Experience building with LLM APIs, agents, RAG, or vector databases. Experience with Google Cloud, Supabase, or MCP. Prior work on an early-stage or fast-moving product team.
