Software engineer designing and building secure application services and APIs for a team serving a leading international bank, on a B2B contract with hybrid work from Kraków (8 office days/month). Core stack: Python (Django/FastAPI), TypeScript (Angular/NestJS), GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, and PostgreSQL.

- Strong Python skills (Python 3.11+ preferred) and solid object-oriented programming fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with Django/FastAPI and TypeScript frameworks (Angular/NestJS).
- Excellent spoken English communication skills for day-to-day collaboration with teammates.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design best practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Experience with GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm.
- Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Strong analytical mindset, learning agility, and a problem-solving approach.
- Basic understanding of open-source software licenses (e.g., Apache-2.0, MIT, GPL) and their practical implications in software delivery.
- Familiarity with modern Python tooling (uv, Ruff, Rye) and Git workflows.
- Familiarity with Go.
- Familiarity with identity protocols and standards: SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted engineering tools such as Claude Code and Codex.
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry and OpenAPI.
- Visible technical engagement (blogging, GitHub portfolio, open-source contributions).
