We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to work on the Qualys Sensor Platform, Qualys' flagship offering. Working with a team of engineers and architects, you will contribute to the prototyping, design, development, and support of a highly scalable security platform with a focus on the Windows platform.
Responsibilities
Analyze, design, code, and debug security software for the Windows platform.
Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements to existing systems and platforms.
Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.
Collaborate with senior engineers and architects to implement features and resolve defects.
Required Skills
Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field.
1 to 3 years of experience as a hands-on engineer developing software products and solutions.
1+ years of C++ programming in a Windows environment.
Working knowledge of the Windows operating system internals (processes, threads, services, registry, Win32 API).
Demonstrated skills including design, prototype, development, unit test, and performance profiling.
Hands-on with development tools like Visual Studio, GIT, JIRA, and Agile/Scrum development.
