We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to work on the Qualys Sensor Platform, Qualys' flagship offering. Working with a team of engineers and architects, you will contribute to the prototyping, design, development, and support of a highly scalable security platform with a focus on the Windows platform.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, code, and debug security software for the Windows platform.

• Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements to existing systems and platforms.

• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.

• Collaborate with senior engineers and architects to implement features and resolve defects.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field.

• 1 to 3 years of experience as a hands-on engineer developing software products and solutions.

• 1+ years of C++ programming in a Windows environment.

• Working knowledge of the Windows operating system internals (processes, threads, services, registry, Win32 API).

• Demonstrated skills including design, prototype, development, unit test, and performance profiling.

• Hands-on with development tools like Visual Studio, GIT, JIRA, and Agile/Scrum development.
