Software Engineer
Responsibilities:
Competent full stack developer with working knowledge of both front-end and back-end technologies.
Building client-facing web-based applications using multiple software development process models (e.g., Agile, Prototype, Iterative) and following the SDLC for web apps.
Utilize open-source frameworks/APIs, contribute to API development, and implement business logic with guidance, including integration with databases.
Work with development tools such as Amazon Web Services, Docker, Spring, Node.js, RDBMS, MongoDB, or similar technologies as needed.
Self-motivated, eager to learn, and focused on contributing to customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science is good but not required. Portfolio of open-source work (on GitHub) is preferred.
Minimum of 1-2 years of working experience in web application development, or relevant projects demonstrated on GitHub.
Strong proficiency in Spring or Java as a core back-end technology, alongside good knowledge of front-end technologies such as ReactJS, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
Real-world development experience and knowledge of some of the following: Java, Spring, ReactJS, Node.js, RDBMS, NoSQL DB, Docker, and AWS.
Experience with some of the following: AWS, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, Spring, NestJS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB would be a great advantage
Enthusiastic about exploring emerging technologies and delivering high-quality, efficient software solutions.
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and high-pressure environment.
Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese.
Good interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
