Summary
Investigate and permanently resolve customer-reported issues, diagnose complex problems across services and data pipelines, and maintain backend systems and APIs for a cybersecurity-focused product.
You will investigate and permanently resolve customer-reported issues. You will diagnose complex problems across services and data pipelines, deliver platform improvements, and partner with Customer Success on technical outcomes. You will maintain backend systems and APIs, write maintainable code, improve reliability and observability, and participate in incident response and on-call rotations.
Responsibilities
- Resolve customer-reported issues through durable fixes
- Diagnose complex problems across services and data pipelines
- Deliver engineering improvements that address customer needs
- Partner with Customer Success on technical solutions
- Maintain and improve backend systems, APIs, and data pipelines
- Write maintainable code and uphold engineering best practices
- Improve system reliability, performance, and observability
- Participate in incident response and on-call rotations
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and scaling backend systems
- Experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or threat intelligence
- Programming skills in Python, Go, Java, or similar languages
- Diagnostic and debugging skills for production issues
- Communication skills for customer and cross-functional work
- Knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, APIs, system design, and cloud infrastructure
- Experience with data pipelines, ETL systems, or high-volume data processing
