Software Engineer (Real-Time) at BairesDev

As a Software Engineer (Real-Time), you will design and develop deterministic, high-performance systems where timing and precision are critical. You will work at the intersection of hardware and software to ensure system reliability in safety-critical environments.

What You'll Do:

- Architect and implement real-time software solutions using various RTOS platforms.
- Design deterministic scheduling algorithms to meet strict timing and hardware constraints.
- Develop and optimize low-level firmware for embedded systems and IoT products.
- Performance tune system components to ensure ultra-high reliability and responsiveness.
- Collaborate on system architecture to support complex, safety-critical execution requirements.
- Debug and resolve complex synchronization and timing issues in multi-threaded environments.

What we are looking for:

- 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on real-time systems.
- Proven expertise in developing deterministic, hard real-time systems using RTOS such as FreeRTOS, VxWorks, Zephyr, or QNX.
- Strong understanding of real-time scheduling and managing hardware constraints in safety-critical contexts.
- Hands-on experience with low-level debugging and performance optimization for embedded software.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
