Software Engineer
Summary
Build and maintain backend infrastructure and REST APIs for a fintech payments scale-up, working with microservices, automation, and shared platform components. Core stack: C#, .NET/ASP.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, and Azure, with a strong emphasis on test-driven development. Hybrid London role, one day per week in the office.
Salary: £65,000 - 105,000 per year
Requirements:- Production experience using C#, .Net, Microsoft SQL Server, and Azure.
- Experience with on-premises to cloud migration.
- Knowledge of API hosting options and preferences.
- Proven experience in maintaining and administering SQL databases.
- Proficiency in test-driven development and automated test frameworks such as NUnit and xUnit.
- Experience with mocking tools such as Moq and unit testing tools such as Coverlet.
- Build backend infrastructure for business-critical systems.
- Develop a robust REST API.
- Work with microservices.
- Implement software engineering best practices.
- Create versatile libraries and APIs that can be used across banking operations.
- Engineer software that supports automation in building, releasing, testing, and deploying across environments.
- Champion the use and sharing of platform components and technologies within our software engineering teams.
