Software Engineer (S)*
Summary
Lead design, development, and implementation of scalable software applications across mobile, web, and CMS projects, collaborating with product managers and designers in agile teams using Python, Java, Go, JavaScript, C#, and Node.js.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, and implementation of complex, scalable, and secure software applications.
- Work with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to define requirements, architect solutions, and deliver high-quality products.
- Produce clean, maintainable, and efficient code in various programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, JavaScript, C#).
- Perform code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior engineers.
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues.
- Ensure high availability and performance of critical systems.
- Contribute to technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and best practices.
- Keep up with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential.
- Be a part of agile development processes, including stand‑ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience in software development with a strong track record of delivering successful projects in Mobile Application and Website Development, Content Management System (CMS).
- Proficient in at least two modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, JavaScript, C#) and Web development with Node.js background, preferably with Next.js and AI-assisted development.
- Experience with relevant frameworks.
- Working knowledge of software design principles, data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
- Problem‑solving skills.
- Fantastic communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience working on government or public sector projects will be advantageous.
