Software Engineer - Salesforce – 12 months contract

Build and maintain Salesforce applications and integrations for a Singapore-based team, focusing on Omnistudio components and Apex/Visualforce customizations over a 12-month contract.
Job Description
- Design, build, and configure Salesforce applications to meet business process and application requirements.
- Develop and enhance system functionality through configurations and, where required, Apex or Visualforce customizations.
- Utilize Salesforce Omnistudio components (including Omniscripts, Integration Procedures, and DataRaptors) to deliver scalable solutions.
- Configure and support packaged or SaaS applications, manage releases, and maintain system stability.
- Conduct technical analysis and contribute to the design and configuration for system integrations and customizations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop solutions, and implement enhancements.
- Perform thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure high reliability and performance.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and support to team members and stakeholders on Salesforce features and best practices.
- Stay current with industry trends, Salesforce updates, and best practices to continuously improve system performance and team effectiveness.
Key Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development, configuration, and customization, preferably experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS)/Salesforce Industries.
- Strong experience designing, building, configuring, and supporting Salesforce applications to meet business and application requirements.
- Proficiency in Salesforce Omnistudio, including Omniscripts, Integration Procedures, and DataRaptors, is highly preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce Industries / Public Sector Solutions (PSS) will be an advantage.
- Experience developing and enhancing Salesforce solutions through configurations, Apex, and Visualforce customizations.
- Familiarity with packaged development, packaged application integration, SaaS applications, and software platforms.
- Experience supporting application releases, system enhancements, testing, quality assurance, and production stability.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce system integrations, technical analysis, and application customization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to design innovative, efficient solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of deliverables and contribute to key technical decisions.
- Salesforce certification in at least one of the following or equivalent advanced-tier certification:
- Salesforce Platform App Builder
- Salesforce JavaScript Developer I
- Salesforce Platform Developer I
- Salesforce Platform Developer II
