Software Engineer

Salary: SGD 6500 - 10500 per month

We’re seeking an experienced Software Engineer to maintain and enhance a production platform powering personalised digital services. You will work across backend services, web applications, data pipelines and cloud infrastructure to ensure the platform remains reliable, scalable and secure.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance full-stack applications, APIs and platform services.
• Deliver new features, bug fixes and code improvements while maintaining engineering quality.
• Build user-facing interfaces and integrate them with backend systems.
• Maintain reliable production systems, data pipelines and scheduled processing workflows.
• Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues and support incident resolution.
• Manage cloud deployments, system upgrades, security patches and infrastructure optimisation.

Requirements:

• Min. 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with the ability to work across frontend and backend systems with development experience in Python.
• Experience developing modern web applications and integrating frontend applications with APIs.
• Experience operating production services in a cloud environment, preferably AWS.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring, alerting and incident management.
• Experience with Spark/PySpark; exposure to Databricks or Airflow would be advantageous.
• Exposure to machine-learning, LLM or recommendation systems in production would be advantageous.
