Software Engineer Search Infrastructure

You will build search infrastructure for real-time indexing, serving, and data pipelines. You will work on indexing, query execution, and relevance, then operate services through monitoring, debugging, incident response, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design and build large-scale search infrastructure, indexing, serving, and data pipelines
• Shape the technical direction of search indexing, query execution, and relevance
• Operate production services through monitoring, debugging, incident response, and optimization
• Lead incident response and recovery
• Contribute to incident postmortems

Requirements

• 5+ years developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems, or experience with storage or hardware architecture
• High-performance Rust, C++, or JVM-based languages
• Search and indexing technologies such as Elasticsearch or Lucene
• Operating system internals, filesystems, networking, or database storage engines
