Summary

Infor is hiring a Software Engineer in Hyderabad to manage security compliance and vulnerability remediation across the ION platform — analyzing scanner findings, owning SBOM/CVE tracking, supporting audits, and building security automation. Core stack includes GitLab, Jenkins, AWS, Veracode, Qualys, and programming in Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.

Infor is seeking for an Software Engineer who is passionate about security compliance, delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions.
You will work closely with senior engineers, release managers, dev ops engineers and QA teams that drive business value for our customers.

  • Manage security and compliance activities across the ION platform
  • Analyze and remediate vulnerabilities identified through security scanning tools following best practices and Infor standards
  • Own SBOM, CVE tracking, and software supply chain compliance processesSupport internal and external audits, compliance reviews, and security assessmentsDevelop and maintain security and compliance automation solutionsCollaborate with cross functional teams - Development, DevOps, CloudOps, and Security teams to drive issue resolutionSupport secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices across engineering teams.
  • Track compliance metrics and provide regular status reporting to stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve security, compliance, and governance processes via automating tasks/AI tools usage Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deliver software features aligned with business needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and other technical issues.
  • Continuously learn and apply emerging technologies to improve product security and reliability.
  • Document technical decisions, processes, and best practices to contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.

  • 2-4 years experience in security & compliance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Experience with security and compliance practices in cloud or enterprise software environments
    • Gitlab ultimate
    • Automation scanning tools
    • Veracode
    • Qualys
    • SBOM
    • Jenkins/AWS/CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines, including GitLab and Jenkins
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
  • Experience with security automation and compliance reporting
  • Experience in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript).
  • Experience of software engineering principles, algorithms, and data structures.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, cloud technologies, and relational databases.
