Software Engineer (Semiconductor)

Salary: $6,000 – $8,000 per month

• Semiconductor Industry

• Monday - Friday (8.30am - 5.30pm)

• Basic salary up $8000 + AWS + VB + Allowance

• West Area (company transport provided)

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, debug and maintain software for silicon photonics chip and optical component test platforms

• Design and develop software solutions for:

  • Semiconductor chip control systems

  • Automated / semi-automated test systems

  • Engineering data analysis platforms

• Develop test scripts and host-computer applications for automated data acquisition and analysis

• Work closely with hardware, test and engineering teams to integrate software with testing equipment

• Support software documentation including design specifications, interfaces, test procedures and user documentation

• Troubleshoot software issues and improve testing efficiency through automation

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Communications Engineering or related disciplines

• Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience

• Strong programming experience in C/C++ and Python

• Experience in software development involving:

  • Hardware communication

  • Test automation

  • Equipment control

  • Data acquisition systems

  • Engineering applications

• Knowledge of communication interfaces such as Ethernet, SPI, PCIe or eMMC will be advantageous

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a cross-functional engineering environment
