Software Engineer – Senior
Summary
Senior backend engineer leading Java/Spring Boot and AWS cloud architecture, mentoring the team and occasionally supporting Angular frontend maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as technical lead for backend development (Java) and cloud architecture (AWS).
- Conduct technical refinements with the team and support shared decisions on architecture and solution design in AWS.
- Lead the development of robust, scalable systems using Java and also contribute to hands‑on coding.
- Act as the focal point and technical translator with Information Security, Governance and Business areas.
- Ensure code health through rigorous code reviews and promote best practices (Clean Code, SOLID).
- Support automation efforts (CI/CD) and occasionally assist the team with ad‑hoc frontend maintenance (Angular).
Requirements
- Excellent communication, proactive attitude and strong sense of ownership.
- Solid experience with Java (Spring Boot and related ecosystem).
- Practical experience with AWS (core services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
- Experience with microservices, RESTful APIs and messaging systems.
- Unit and integration testing experience and a focus on software resilience.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Angular (for occasional support only).
- Experience or familiarity with Mulesoft.
