Software Engineer (Senior) (Must Have Java, Spring Framework, Weblogic, Oracle, Preferred AWS Cloud)

Job Description

· We are seeking a Software Engineer with hands-on experience in application development, system integration, and change request (CR) implementation.

· The role involves developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining application enhancements across the OASIS application landscape while ensuring code quality, security, and compliance with engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop, configure, unit test, and integrate application enhancements across frontend, backend, database, and reporting layers.

· Participate in requirement analysis, impact assessments, technical solutioning, sprint planning, and product squad discussions.

· Develop and maintain application components, APIs, interfaces, database scripts, batch jobs, and reports.

· Perform unit and integration testing and support SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution.

· Investigate and resolve application defects, technical issues, and production incidents.

· Support cybersecurity assessments, vulnerability remediation, and security testing.

· Assist with build, release, deployment, rollback planning, and post-deployment validation.

· Develop automated tests and maintain technical documentation, implementation records, and deployment procedures.

· Collaborate with architecture, infrastructure, database, integration, platform, and cybersecurity teams.

· Support knowledge sharing and handover of completed enhancements to maintenance and operations teams.

· Acquire additional technical skills required to support evolving application requirements.

Required Qualifications and Skills

· Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in application development and implementation of change requests or enhancements.

· Hands-on experience with Java, JEE/J2EE, JSP, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Spring/Spring Boot, Angular, Struts, Hibernate, and iBatis.

· Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture, Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD), and JEE/J2EE design patterns.

· Experience with Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, database design, and data modelling.

· Familiarity with Git, Ant, Eclipse, Jtest, Log4j, shell scripting, and cron jobs.

· Experience in application/interface integration, build and deployment processes, defect troubleshooting, and technical documentation.

· Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams and adapt to changing project requirements.

Preferred Skills

· Reporting and Dashboard Technologies Talend Data Management Platform 8.0.1, Crystal Reports, WebLogic, INET Crystal Clear 23+, Apache POI, and JFreeChart. Ability to develop, test, troubleshoot, and support reporting and dashboard enhancements.

· LDAP, Directory and Authentication Technologies LDAP schema management, directory tree design, Oracle Unified Directory (OUD), SiteMinder (WAM) Version 12+, and Kerberos on Windows Server 2019+.

· Willingness to acquire the required competencies to support directory, authentication, and access management enhancements.

· Additional Requirements Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

· Good communication and teamwork abilities. Willingness to learn and support technologies across the OASIS application landscape.
