Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain solutions using the IBM FileNet P8 platform.
• Configure and customise FileNet components such as Content Engine (CE), Process Engine (PE), and Case Manager.
• Develop and manage workflows, business processes, and document lifecycle management.
• Integrate FileNet with external applications using APIs, web services (SOAP/REST), and middleware.
• Perform system configuration, deployment, and environment setup.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and optimise FileNet applications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security, governance, and data management policies.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with the IBM FileNet P8 platform.
• Experience with FileNet components such as Content Engine, Process Engine, Case Manager, and Workplace XT / ICN (IBM Content Navigator).
• Proficiency in Java / J2EE for customisation and integrations.
• Experience with SQL and database management (DB2 Oracle, or SQL Server).
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and system integration.
• Understanding of document management, workflow automation, and records management concepts.
• Familiarity with application servers such as WebSphere or WebLogic.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills.
