Role Overview

We are seeking a result-driven Software Engineer to drive the development of our web applications and APIs. This is a hands-on role focused on coding, debugging, and delivering functional features using Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will collaborate with Product and Design teams to turn requirements into high-performing software.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain APIs and backend services on GCP.
• Build and maintain front-end features using React.js, Node.js, and JavaScript.
• Work with JSON for data exchange between front-end and backend.
• Design and work with relational or NoSQL databases (schema design, queries, indexing, migrations).
• Implement data models and business logic for backend services.
• Ensure API performance, reliability, and proper error handling.
• Deploy and monitor backend services on GCP (Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, etc.).
• Participate in code reviews and testing to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
• Collaborate with the Product and Design teams to implement functional, user-friendly features.
• Track tasks and progress in a project management tool.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/related field with strong practical experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in software development, preferably in full-stack or end-to-end software development roles.
• Hands-on experience with GCP, APIs, Java, React.js, Node.js, JavaScript, and JSON.
• Experience working with databases (SQL or NoSQL), including basic schema design and writing queries.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, collaborative team environment.
• Execution-focused, proactive, and reliable.
• GCP Certification (Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud Developer) is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Any front-end/full-stack web development certifications (React, Node.js, JavaScript) is helpful but optional.
• Proven experience building full-stack applications and APIs.
• Comfortable using version control systems like Git or BitBucket.
• Familiarity with agile development processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug across front-end and backend.
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Willingness to learn new tools or frameworks as the product evolves.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Onsite)
